When: 3/15; 12:30 - 2:00pm
Learn how to grow mushrooms in a shoebox sized bin, with this hands-on class!
Sam has been growing all kinds of mushrooms since 2019 and started educating others through his company Shroomsquatch Myco-Ventures 3 years ago. Sam was unfulfilled by his previous career as a Social Worker and began applying his passion for mycology to encourage the changes he wanted to see in society. Giving access to this education is Sam’s number one priority and he was able to teach his techniques to a massive audience at Psycon in 2023.
This course integrates a hands on experience with education that covers the life cycle of mushrooms and sterile technique. We will talk about grain colonization, and substrate preparation. Sam will assist you in building a bin that you get to take home, while providing tips and tricks along the way. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about how to complete the process in class, as well as, have access to Sam via email. You will be sent a follow up email with the presentation and where to order additional supplies. Additional grow supplies and the opportunity to inject your bag in our flow hood are available after class.
Our goal is to take the frustration out of learning to grow mushrooms! Everything is backed by our First Flush Guarantee! If you don't make it to your first flush, you can come back to the lab, and we will give you another bin for free! If you have any questions, please contact us via the contact form.
