Foraging Classes
Join me in Evergreen to learn how to identify and use local plants and mushrooms! Every class comes with a foraging tote and you get to take pictures with signs along our walk, so you can identify and collect the same things later. Don’t see a date that works for you? Book a private lesson here.
Saturday 5/17 9:30-2:00
Join me at my home, the Lucky Ranch, for an unforgettable Colorado Day. Property is 3 miles west of Tall Grass Spa in Evergreen and address is sent to registered participants with dietary survey, several days prior to class.
After arriving at the ranch, we will gather in my outdoor mushroom garden for a cup of foraged tea and intros. I’ll cover the history of the Ranch and talk about the garden under our feet. We will go over how to microdose and you will each have the opportunity to pick a strain and dosage that resonates with you, to take home. You will also have the opportunity to use a microdose, to enjoy the rest of the day at the Ranch.
Next we will go on a plant and mushroom walk around the property. I will have signs with me that I hold next to each organism, so you can take a picture to practice with later. We will taste what is edible along our walk. After our walk, we will do a short, guided meditation. This is not intense and it is meant to guide you on how to quiet your own being while using psychedelics/ or otherwise.
Lastly, I will feed you lunch back in the garden. I will send you a survey to learn your preferences and prepare a fresh meal accordingly. I will use what is in season around the ranch and local produce/ baked goods. After lunch you are free to go.
Transportation to and from the event can be arranged through a local ride service for an additional fee. Microdosing is not meant to be perceptible in a way that interferes with your ability to drive. It should be sub perceptible, or similar to the amount of stimulus you may have from a cup of coffee.
Each participant will be sent home with a foraging tote to continue their plant gathering journey, a pack of microdose capsules in a strain that aligns with you, guides on how to microdose and where to find resources in CO for integration and continued personal use.
Must be 21+ to attend and complete liability waivers. If you have a diagnosis of schizophrenia or bipolar, or take lithium, you should never consume psilocybin and this experience would not be for you.
